Our Story

About Nyikwa Alee CBO

A community-based organization powering and driving change in Kisumu County through partnership-driven interventions for sustainable development.

Our Heritage

The Nyikwa Alee Story

Nyikwa Alee Community Based Organization was officially registered on January 2, 2025, under Certificate Number DSD/42/239/02/59471. The organization traces its roots to the lineage of matriarch Alee Nyo'Okwach and patriarch Petro Omala Anyango, whose descendants have come together to serve their broader community in Kisumu County.

What began as a family initiative has grown into a registered CBO working across four sub-counties — Kisumu West, Kisumu East, Kadibo, and Nyando — with programs spanning environmental conservation, health, education, youth empowerment, and sustainable economic development.

Our physical office is located at Rabuor Town, where we coordinate operations across all our program areas.
